A couple of decades ago, Tulum was just a modest settlement tourists passed by to get to the Mayan Ruins. Now it's one of Mexico's most visited destinations and is still rapidly growing.

How and why did this happen?

The paradise beaches and turquoise sea coasts were always there, just like the incredible jungles and ancient ruins. In that sense, Tulum’s potential of becoming the new Caribbean hotspot was always latent.

The saturation of tourists in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and other popular destinations helped attention shift towards Tulum, which has a much lower price per square meter.

Slowly but surely, many real estate developments, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs and beach clubs started to proliferate in the area, establishing a somewhat exclusive circuit that is now ready to receive an increasing demand of international tourists.

However Tulum is just in the way of becoming a top global vacationing destination. Many more developments are in construction, waiting for the world to visit.

At Neoterre, we develop high-end residential projects in Tulum, ideal for renting and seizing its huge touristic potential. If you are interested in joining our community, contact us and we will be of service.
